About the Role
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supports Head Finance DUs in performance management, resource allocation, lead its financial planning processes (budget, LO, LF, O&R), calendar management, reporting and supporting the analyses for DU owned budgets as well as across Line Functions for the portfolio view
- Provides any ad hoc reporting or business cases in close collaboration with business partners
- Collaborates with Project Teams and Global Business Partner to optimize budget planning and ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
- Responsible for a subsection of the portfolio and act as a key business partner for GPHs, GPMs and Global Development line functions to drive compliant business performance to deliver financial targets and to partner with them for all business related topics (Investment Committees, GLT/IMB preparations, Project Reviews, Alliance Managements etc.)
- Generate insights and identify Risks and Opportunities across portfolio responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate monthly Investment Committee Process for DU with Project teams
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential for the role:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred), or relevant finance certifications
- Finance business partner with proven experience in business partnering across matrix organizations, financial planning cycles and activities based on data to improve performance and reduce risk
- 6+ years experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, ideally including Global level roles
- Curious mindset with passion to connect dots across functions and continuously develop in new situations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to focus on the key objectives and drivers within complex topics
- Strong Technical and System skills (e.g. SAP, BPC, Qliksense, Powerpoint, Excel, Other financial reporting tools)
- Fluent in English both Written & Oral
Desirable for the role:
- Pharmaceutical industry experience
- Experience within a multinational organisation
- Experience in automation and digitalisation within financial processes
