The Associate Director Integration Architect is responsible for transforming business requirements into IT solution design specifications, ensuring that solutions meet customer expectations within the Salesforce ecosystem while being safe, reliable, scalable, flexible, and cost-effective.

About the Role

Major accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop detailed integration strategies and roadmaps.
  • Involved in decision making discussions with internal customer groups
  • Help scoping of requirements to meet business needs
  • Design robust, scalable, and maintainable integration solutions using Mulesoft technologies, ensuring adherence to enterprise integration standards and principles.
  • Create and maintain architectural blueprints, design patterns, and best practices that facilitate seamless integration and promote reusability.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development of integration standards, guidelines, and frameworks.
  • Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of the Mulesoft platform through regular health checks and performance tuning.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms for operation support and enable them to proactively address issues and drive continuous improvements for greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Service Delivery scope
  • Ensure implemented solutions are according to specifications and fit for purpose.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards through code reviews, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.

TECHNICAL SKILL SET

  • Significant experience in a similar role with a proven track record in managing Global and large-scale projects
  • Proven capacity to respond to changes which impact the program, deal with uncertainty and proactively resolve issues to deliver the best possible outcome
  • Proven experience as a Mulesoft Architect or similar role in designing and implementing integration solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, API management, and ESB (Enterprise Service Bus).
  • Proficiency in designing RESTful and SOAP APIs, and integrating with various on-premises and cloud-based systems.
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns, data transformation, and messaging protocols (e.g., JMS, AMQP).
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Mulesoft advancements, integration trends, and industry best practices.

Experience required:

  • University degree in business/technical area or equivalent
  • Fluent English both written and spoken
  • 8+ years of experience in solution design and development along with 3+ years of experience as integration architect
  • Experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Proven track rack record in large, preferably global, multi-team projects dealing with complex process areas and business groups
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Ability to work with others in a high paced, fluid, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team
  • Working under tight timelines without compromising quality
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels
  • Ability to operate in matrix organization with diverse groups of stakeholders
  • Strong can-do attitude and results-focused
